Our Mission & Vision .
Ebony Ambassadors CIC activities bring communities together through Art, Culture, Skills Empowerment Workshops, quarterly Award Ceremony to recognize young star with exceptional skill and Miss E.B.O.N.Y Beauty and Creativity Contest.
We are well known for our annual event called ‘Miss E.B.O.N.Y Ambassador Beauty and Creativity Contest’. This contest promotes skills acquisition/ empowerment, global culture awareness, community spirit, philanthropy and youth led/ centered projects in the United Kingdom and Africa.
The grand finale of the contest not only connect people with each other but allows them learns about different cultures, such as food, dance, attire, arts, drinks, etc. It will help people to expand their network and boost their social skills.
We run workshops/seminars on regularly basis with a group of people with common interests thereby creating opportunity to practice and develop their social skills. Our activities improve the mental and physical health of the people in the community we will be working with as one of the ways to be mentally balance or relieve of stress is a meaningful connection with one another.
Studies have proven that one of the best ways to make new friends and strengthen existing relationships in the community is to commit to a shared activity together that will strengthens the ties to the community and broadens the support network, bringing people with common interests, neighborhood resources, and fun and fulfilling activities through our regular skill empowerment workshop. Our activities increase the social and relationship skills of the people in the community will work in.
The social contact aspect of helping and working with others can have a profound effect on the overall psychological well-being, our regular workshop help to achieve this. Our activities provide opportunity for the Unemployed and unskilled to gain skills to start a new business to go back to work thereby reducing the number of unemployed in our community.
We have volunteering opportunity for those considering a new career to get experience in their area of interest. Important skills used in the workplace, such as teamwork, communication, problem solving, project planning, and task management.

Aims & Objectives
For the past 6 years, in addition to promoting skills acquisition, we have been committed to advocating for cultural awareness, and tolerance by creating a platform to advance community spirit, through our youth led/ community centered projects; which have held in both the United Kingdom, and in Africa.
In line with our mission to empower this generation, and the generations to come through skills transfer, and cultural diversity projects; we have developed a range of activities, which we deliver within our targeted communities as follows:

Tackling Unemployment
- Our activities provide opportunity for the Unemployed and unskilled to gain skills to
start a new business, or to go back to work,thereby reducing the number of
unemployed in our community. - As part of our vision to be to a platform that promotes community spirit, we have successfully raised funds to develop a food Distribution Program, which we carried out during the height ofthe pandemic to supportfamilies in our communities.
Volunteering & Mentoring programmmes
- Allowing members ofthe communities we serve to play a central role in our activities, is an important
part of our planning process. - We have created volunteering opportunities for those considering a new career to get experience in
their area ofinterest. Important skills used in the workplace, such as teamwork, communication,
problem solving, project planning, and task management are learntin the process - The involvement of volunteers on our projects has allowed us to benefitfrom this important aspect of
stakeholders engagements, and consultations that happens when our volunteers are involved in the
process.
Referral Agency & Signposting
- We have been able to build trust within the communities, and have had the privilege to assist
with referrals to other services that have are relevantto the client group that we serve.
Community Outreach Programme
Food distribution
As part of our vision to be to a platform that promotes community spirit, we have successfully raised funds to develop a Food Distribution Program, which we carried out during the height of the pandemic to supportfamilies in our communities. This programme is still on going
Mental resiilence workshops
We organise Mental resilence workshops via zoom to help people cope with the effect of pandemic and also help in looking after their mental health

Our Leadership
- We have a strong team of dynamic, highly skilled, and qualified Managers, including an advisory board, who help to shape our Strategic direction, and steer our projects, including our work with our volunteers, and feedback from service users.
- Our leadership has demonstrated strong decision making skills, and the ability to communicate the needs of our target audience to funders and partners who have continued to offer support to our projects.
- Delivering our Value is the Key to achieving our vision and mission , and centralto our work is the importance service delivery to our target audience, and our communities, and to ultimately deliver value for through our activities to our funders.
- We have continued to strive towards improving our framework by putting systems/processes in place that allows us to gain feedback about our services, and to help us plan services that meetthe needs of our communities.
- The framework of our organization, including its design, culture and access to a strong network of strategic partners has keptthe organization growing from strength to strength.
